ByteMe Networks, LLC (“ByteMe Networks”) provides Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services (“Services”) to facilitate legitimate communication needs. By using our Services, you (“Customer”) agree to comply with the following Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”):
Prohibited Activities
Customers shall not use the Services to:
Large Volume Calls: Initiate or facilitate the transmission of an unusually high volume of calls that may disrupt or degrade the quality of service for other users.
Robocalls: Engage in the transmission of unsolicited, prerecorded, or automated voice messages, commonly known as robocalls, without the express consent of the recipient.
Call Center Operations: Operate call centers or engage in telemarketing activities using the Services without obtaining prior written consent from ByteMe Networks.
Compliance with Laws
Customers must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, including regulations governing telemarketing, robocalls, and call center operations.
Monitoring and Enforcement
ByteMe Networks reserves the right to monitor the use of its Services to ensure compliance with this AUP. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of Services, at ByteMe Networks’ sole discretion.
Modifications
ByteMe Networks may update this AUP from time to time. Customers are responsible for reviewing the AUP periodically to stay informed of any changes.
VoIP Terms of Service
By using ByteMe Networks’ VoIP Services, you agree to the following terms:
Ownership of Phone Numbers: All phone numbers provided by ByteMe Networks, regardless of how they were acquired, remain the exclusive property of ByteMe Networks. Customers do not have ownership rights to these numbers.
Porting Out Restrictions: Requests to port out phone numbers will not be processed unless all outstanding bills and contractual obligations are fully settled.
No Contractual Commitment: All accounts are on a month-to-month basis with no long-term contractual commitment. Either party may terminate the service with appropriate notice as specified in the service agreement.
General Provisions
Indemnification: Customers agree to indemnify and hold ByteMe Networks harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their use of the Services.
Limitation of Liability: ByteMe Networks’ liability is limited to the amount paid by the Customer for the Services in the month preceding the claim.
Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which ByteMe Networks is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
By using ByteMe Networks’ VoIP Services, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
